Stepping motor with permanent magnetic rotor - has several pairs of salient poles and has useful flux-to-stray flux ratio

Electric stepping motor is fitted with a permanent magnetic material rotor having a number of salient pole pairs (11) and a corresponding number of fixed pole pairs (2) on the stator. The rotor is made frustoconical on the side facing the stator pole pairs, and the lobes forming the stator pole pairs lying opposite the rotor pole pairs are bent off in the plane of the end face of the field excitation winding which is arranged to run parallel to the generated surface of the truncated core which is formed by the rotor. The motor is encased in a housing (4) with a non-magnetic lid (9).
