Unit for controlling the speed of multiple motor drives for wire drawing machines in partic., allows the nominal speed values for the individual motors to be derived from a common controlled nominal voltage taken from an electronic device whose output voltage increases continuously with the application of a input voltage. The magnitudes proportional to the discrete speeds of the motors are coupled to a threshold member whose output voltage compensates the input voltage when one of these magnitudes has reached the permissible value. Each motor (A1) to (An) is connected in parallel to the control device (HL). The individual motor circuits include a diode and a trimming potentiometer.
