The connector, for connecting together two flat bus-bars consists of an insulating block, which separates the ends of the two bus-bars, and a metal bridge, which is screwed down by a spring-loaded bolt over the insularing block and onto both bus-bars. The insulating block has two recesses in its sides to hold the ends of the bus-bars and to prevent them from moving up or down before the metal bridge descends. The helical spring encloses the bolt shaft which passes axially through the insulating block but is not in contact with either bus-bar. The connector is simple, compact and makes connecting and disconnecting bus-bars easier than with other connector types.
