The chassis consists of a main centre section having a girder construction formed by two upper and two lower longitudinal bearers parallel to each other and connected by vertical struts and cross members. The front section consists of two parallel longitudinal bearers connected to each other by cross members and joined to the main chassis by vertical girders which also join the upper and lower ends of the longitudinal centre section bearers. The front wheel suspension is carried by the front chassis section with the rear suspension points supported by the cross bearer forward of the vertical connection girder. The main chassis vertical struts form fixing brackets for the body work support outriggers.
