Different pile yarns are bonded into the knitted fabric, with an arrangement to remove cut loose pile yarn material between the points where the pile loops are secured. The system ensures that loose ends are cut and removed, to prevent the finished fabric from having an appearance of loops arranged in rows. The suction jets are located at the cutting points on the needle shafts at the height of the looping sinkers.
