The cutlery comprises at least a set of knives, forks and spoons which are of the same size and are provided with one set of handles (1) for every day used and with at least another set in a different design for special use. Each handle is provided with a socket housing or sleeve (8) for fitting onto the shaft (6) of the knife, fork and spoon members which are then securely fixed by connecting means such as screws or nuts, or spring biased members, which after assembly expand to provide a clamping effect. Thus two sets of cutlery are available for basically the prices and storage space of one.
