The bimetallic temperature sensor consists of a strip with a flat surface and is arranged together with an electrical contact device (8) on a guide bearing. A stationary electrical contact device (10) loaded by the moving electrical contact device, is positioned on an adjustable contact bar (11) in the form of a slide. The guide bearing can be made of plastic and have a flange for fastening the temperature sensor. The guide bearing can be provided with a guideway for engaging a temperature control mechanism.
