Non-skid, spike-less motor vehicle tyre - designed on principle of an ice-skate runner, having runner-like concave insets

A skid-proof motor vehicle tyre is fitted with runner-like insets which are provided with a groove, in the manner of an ice-skate, and with fastening means (I) which are mounted inside the tyre or in front of the inset. (I) may be screw bolts and nuts. Since the tyre is free of prior-art spikes it cannot damage road surfaces. Both the shape and posn. of the insets as claimed ensure secure road holding and full transfer of the driving power from engine/wheel to road surface.
