The disc-shaped plug-in capacitor has an electrode support whose side edges tapering towards the plug-in side are of trapezoidal shape, particularly suitable for a ceramic miniature capacitor. The side edges extend in a tapering manner from the middle towards both ends thus forming a double trapezoidal support disc (1). The front and rear side of the disc carry electrodes (4), symmetrically shaped in the direction. Preferably the middle part of the carrier disc has a shoulder-shaped extension (3). The design of the miniature ceramic capacitor enables mechanical sorting and assembly feed, especially for silver coating and marking machines.
