The ornamental grill has a continuous circumferential frame. The frame corners carry corner connections with the ends of the outer frame sections (2-5) being pushed onto the flanks of the connections. The area enclosed by the frame contains a filling of ornamental elements or of crossing stays (9, 10) extending in two directions. Stays and elements are interlocked to the frame. The free ends of the stays have recesses, engaging around the frame outer sections. The outer sections consist of square tubular parts, with the two corner lines (6, 7) being located in the central plane frame. The free stay ends have triangular recesses. The stays enclose areas for ornamental elements, fastened similarly, or via screws.
