Cleaning fluid sprayer for oil- or fat-contaminated articles comprises auxiliary decanting apparatus for separating the oil, a storage tank with a radiator for preparing and heating the cleaning fluid, a filter device to which is connected an intermediate storage device which also serves to recover used fluid using an agitator, and a cleaning zone for cleaning the articles with a manually operated jet pipe or an enclosed washing installation. The cleaning fluid pref. has a pH of 7.5-8.5.
