Hand held impact drill with dust shroud - has conical bellows clamped onto nose of drill and spring supported on inside flanges

The hand held motor driven rotary and impact drill, has a conical shroud (11) mounted on it, consisting of a bellows made of transparent flexible material, housing a spring (23) so that the larger end can be held against the surface being drilled, to trap all the dust and debris. At the smaller end is a collar (16) which is clamped around the nose of the drill, onto which is secured a flanged collar (17) and a similar, larger flanged collar (21) is housed inside the mouth of the bellows. Both collars are of plastics material and the spring fits onto an outer collar (24) of the first flange, and inside a recess (22) in the second flange. A dust extraction nozzle can be incorporated in the bellows.
