Clamp for adjustable lamp comprises a U-section housing (1) of which the side walls each have a passage and in which are mounted two clamping jaws (2, 2a) which form between them a recess (7) for receiving a pin at the lower end of the lamp. the jaws also have a central passage (3), all the passages being in alignment with each other. Two different, interchangeable shafts (19) are provided, one of which passes through the passages and is secured by a nut (17). One shaft (19) is L-shaped with the short arm of the L disposed in the housing and jaws and threaded (17) at its end, and the long arm of the L forming a partially threaded (22) guide rod (20).
