Wall slab mounting aid appliance - with bottom edge-supporting levelling batten for detachable coupling to vertical bars

The mechanism used for mounting wall panels, esp. stone slabs, in place, comprises two bars which can be set up vertically and locking components one above the other on each bar, at intervals of slab height plus a joint gap. There is an aligning batten (3) suitable for supporting the bottom edge of the slabs, and there are coupling devices (18) for detachably fitting the aligning batten to the bars (1) with engagement in their locking components (22). There may be lengthways working screw devices (5) at the top and bottom of each bar. The aligning batten may be assembled from separate hollow pieces, made of plastically deformable material for fitting curves in the wall. This is simple and inexpensive, and can be quickly manipulated single-handed.
