Mounting of swinging jib crane on concrete base - involves abutment with cast-in vertical anchor and superimposed horizontal bearing flange

The fixture for a structural assembly on a base, is esp. suitable for a swinging jib crane on a concrete base with tilting or torsional movements, and horizontal and vertical forces transferred from an upright to the base via an abutment, or counter-bearing anchored in the base. This abutment consists of one or more anchors (7), pref. vertical, with a bearing flange (8) set on top, pref. horizontally. The anchor is cast in the base (5), with the underside of the bearing flange resting on the base. The anchor is coaxial, axis-parallel, or symmetrical to the axis of the upright (1), and the bearing flange is fitted with fixtures to secure the upright. Preparative work on the base and abutment is reduced to a minimum.
