The vegetative propagation system for plants of the carnation or pink type (dianthus canyophyllus) with constant new physical appearance produces plants with the following combination of characteristics:- long stemmed growth form, strong flexible stem of a blue-gray colour with waxy coating, short, wide dark green leaves attached angularly at the stem with blue-gray waxy coating, egg shaped buds, large cupola shaped blossoms with bell shaped calyx aid with outward curving finely toothed yellow petals with radially running red stripes or flame design deepening towards the centre to produce a deep red colouration. The new variety is achieved by isolation mutants of the carnation "Bella" and selection of vegetatively propagated cuttings.
