The vacuum suction holder is intended primarily for handling eggs, but its suction elements are suitable for reception and positioning of other flat or convex items. It has a vacuum bellows whose operation is controlled by a regulating valve, connected to a suction element and actuated by a control device. Each suction element (2) is fitted with such vacuum bellows (1) and all these elements are secured in a frame, which permits controlled actuation of individual bellows, or of all bellows simultaneously. If a single bellow operation is used the control device is preferably formed by a rotary magnetic lever (5), operated by an electromagnet (4). In simultaneous operation the control device may contain a common bar in rotary connection with the bellows.
