The sharpening arrangement consists of a disc shaped cutter mounting in which one or two cutting tools are mounted near the circumference. A series of deep annular grooves are machined in the face of the discs. The grooves have different diameters corresponding with the diameters of the tubes of which the end face is to be cut. The annular grooves are so positioned on the face of the disc that they pass at one point over one of the cutters mounted in the disc. The grooves cross one another and some pass over one of the cutters while others pass over the other cutter. The cutters (5) are mounted in rectangular openings in the disc and can be adjusted parallel to the centrelines of the grooves.
