Production of transportable vegetation mats - has nutritive substratum applied on mesh which holds vegetation roots

Production of transportable vegetation mats while maintaining the vegetation on a base face where a mesh (2) which accepts and holds the vegetation roots is fitted to a transportable support plate (1). A nutritive substratum (3) is applied on the mesh (2) and is covered with a second mesh (4) which holds the roots. As a top finishing layer, a cover layer is applied to the second mesh (4) and contains the vegetation seeds and fertiliser. Specifically, the finished vegetation plate is pre-sown and the vegetation plates are watered and, if necessary, heated. Relatively large surfaces can be quickly covered with vegetation, especially grass, by this procedure.
