The main magnets of the microton are provided with auxiliary poles which generate a magnetic field which is opposite to that of the main magnets. The electron gun (4) and the electron accelerator (3) are mounted in an area which is outside the effective field of the magnets (1); electrons from the electron gun (4) fly in the magnetic field of the auxiliary poles (2) along a path directed to the accelerator (3) and the curvature of this path is opposite to that of paths followed by the accelerated electrons in the main magnetic field, after passing through the accelerator.
