A boiler system with an output and return pipe system is for use with a heating installation using pref. a water heat transfer medium and having a three-way mixer device attached to the output pipe from the boiler unit has the return pipe (3) attached to the boiler (1) at the same height as the output pipe (2). A deflector plate (5) is attached at right angles to the boiler inner wall (4) and is situated at least partially in the region where heat transfer medium i.e water returns to the boiler (1) by means of the return flow pipe (3).
