Watering probe for plant pots - consists of crooked support with wick inside and longer side in water and other in soil

The probe consists of a shepherd's crook-shaped support in the form of a duct containing a plastic suction-wick. The longer side of the probe reaches into the water in the container, and the shorter side is buried in the soil in the plant-pot. A bridging connection rests on the top rim of the plant pot. The support is in the shape of a figure and is made of rigid plastic, and has ends parallel to the connecting-bridge. A hole in the end burried in the soil allows the wick to pass through. The support is of U-shaped cross-section. The underneath side of the probe has attachment projections fitting into slits in the adjacent side walls of the end in the water.
