摘要

The image adaption system employs two television cameras, which are operated in synchronism and which are directed onto the same image area, via a beam splitting prism. Both the cameras are connected to a common processing circuit and one of the cameras is defocussed and provides the two-dimensional adaption signal, which is passed through a low-pass filter and is used to control the other camera. Preferably the video signal from the defocussed camera is used to control the second camera, so that the video signal from the latter is divided by the adaption signal. The optical system of the second camera may include a light modulator, which is controlled via the video signal from the first camera, or the image converter of the second camera tube controlled by the signal from the signal from the first camera.
