The catering device for the rational preparation of hot dogs or similarly filled bread rolls comprises several vertical spikes (2) evenly spaced out over a plate (1) so that the rolls (3) can be mounted thereof so that they are provided with a suitable hole. A thermal hood (6) which is adapted to rise and fall and/or swivel away to cover the plate (1) and pegs (2) allows warm air to be introduced.
