The stand comprises two frames one to hold and support the drawing board whilst the other frame with suction heads for resting in non-slip manner on the tabletop. The drawing board support frame is provided round the edge with a mounting in which the drawing board fits, the height of this mounting being adaptable to the thickness of the board or sheet. The two frames are connected by hinges along their outer edges at the bottom. Rods which run at 90 deg. down parallel to the drawing board frame are fastened at the back to the right and left hand sides of the frame to extend from the centre down to the lower end.
