The crane incorporates a superstructure (3) slewing on a vertical axis on a travel chassis (1). The driver's cab (11) can be coupled either to the chassis or to the superstructure as desired. To secure the cab to the superstructure bracket (4) a pivot mounting (14) with horizontal axis can be used, together with one or more supports (15), the latter typically in the form of ropes. The bracket can be arranged to tilt on the superstructure on a horizontal axis (5) under the action of an adjusting mechanism (8) between the rest position and a working position when lifting.
