The toy scissors have two symmetrical blades provided with features preventing injury from sharp tips. The scissors are used for cutting paper at e.g. nursery schools. The rounded tips of the scissor blades (2) are bent outwards in relation to the scissors longitudinal axis. The tips can be formed by bending of the scissor blades. Alternatively, the scissor tips can be formed by fastening metal plates of any shape to the tips of the blade. In another version the scissor tips can be covered with plastic caps.
