The magnetic soap holder includes an easily removable soap disc or capsule which has several rectangular holes around its edge for engagement by the pointed end of a metal release rod. In this way the soap capsule can be easily removed from the soap and either placed on the other side of the soap if only half of it has been worn down or on a fresh bar if required. The soap does not have to be disintegrated in order to remove the capsule. A rod with chamfered end and handle is used for soap removal.
