In modern, large super markets shopping trolleys are often pushed by the customer to a neighbouring car park in order to unload the purchased goods into his car. The present invention eases the return by providing a remotely controlled fork lift truck type conveyancer which collects and pushes a row of them - pushed one inside the other - back to the shopping centre for re-use. The drive is preferably electrical for cleanliness but an i.c. engine is also possible. The remote control can be via a cable, in which case the pushing vehicle will be provided with a winding drum for cable storage. Radio control is another alternative.
