Dust protected, light drill machine chuck where a guide-and power pick-up T-groove running at an acute angle to the drill axis, is fitted to each individual drill chuck jaw. The force-accepting T-cross bar inner face of each of the grooves is part of the support body for the inner wall of a pyramid-shaped body, particularly in a steel plate which runs conically towards the working end of the chuck. This body is imbedded externally in a plastic, sheathing body. There are radially running, hollow prismatic breaks in the body and in the sheathing body close to the greatest distance of the grooves from the chuck longitudinal axis.
