Determination of liquid viscosity esp. for medical analyses - reference liquid used in relation to liquid to rotate

A rotary body (2, 3) which surrounds the liquid and floats freely in it is driven and the difference between the speeds of rotation of two rotary bodies surrounding the reference liquid is used to determine the viscosity. The two liquids are interchangeable. The apparatus consists of at least two rotary bodies arranged concentrically inside one another. They are fitted inside a container (1) holding the measuring liquid. The inner rotary body (2) can be driven by a force applied from outside. The rotary bodies can be designed as hollow spheres or hollow ellipsoids.
