The rotor blade control for a helicopter has the object of producing a replacement for the wobble plate control in order to permit higher forward speeds. The control system includes a control ring instead of the wobble plate, the circular track of which does not lie in one place alone, but is curved in two dimensions. The object is to reduce vibration forces during fast forward flights which at present reduces the possible speeds attainable. The invention ensures that the angle of attack of the rotor blade moving forward is reduced. Similarly the blade moving backwards is also controlled.
