The heating elements are stacked in parallel rows vertically inside a rectangular container. The flows through the elements are ducted together. The side walls are also arranged to contain auxiliary heaters. The upper part of the container holds the liquid and each container may be connected to other similar units to increase the effective capacity of the generator. This upper container may be cylindrical or semi-cylindrical. By means of this layout the heating elements are prevented from radiating heat over one another, thus increasing the efficiency of the generator.
