The shutter has a device for presetting the width of opening of strips movable to the open position against a spring pressure. The width of the strips (36, 37) opening is controlled by a stop (33) set in accordance with the required diaphragm opening. The lever system (18, 22, 27, 40) comprises a driving lever (18) carrying out its full movement independent from the diaphragm setting, and a lever (22) connected with it, and disconnected from it by reaching the stop (33). When disconnected, it is returned by a spring to its initial position, releasing the spring loaded shutter strips (36, 37).
