Four-terminal network change-over device - changes network between two unbalanced inner conductors and all characteristic impedances are correctly matched

The characteristic impedances of the conductors are correctly matched and the four-terminal networks also have their characteristic impedances correctly matched, while the networks are so movable between the inner conductors, that in one position a first network and in the other position the second network is inserted between the ends of the inner conductors. There are flexible leaf springs (5, 6) which are provided at the ends of the inner conductor (1, 2) and the four-terminal networks (9, 10) are attached to these springs (5, 6). The networks are mounted on the end of a rod (16) so that one or other of them may be moved into contact with they conductors (1, 2).
