The purpose is to provide safeguards for passengers in automatically travelling cabins, when emergency braking is applied, and on similar occasions, to prevent sudden tilting forwards, esp. in small cabins where people are seated directly behind the front window pane. In addition to deformable structures below the front windows, there are movable front windows fitted with a bottom rotation pivot, permitting a movement of more than 20 cm at their top edge, involving a considerable force for the energy uptake.
