The limiter circuit for a transmitter modulating signal oscillations reduces the time integral of signal half-waves in the region of the leading and/or trailing edges. All pass filter circuits increasingly delay the signal as the frequency increases. The all pass filter circuits are separated by limiters so that an alternating chain is formed. Each all pass filter consists of a T-network with series inductance and earthed capacitance. Each limiter consists of a four-diode bridge, with one diagonal coupled between the supply terminals and the other diagonal forming the input and output terminals. The advantage lies in reducing unwanted consequences of the delay.
