The disc capacitors are arranged in two rows, lie in line with each other and are interconnected by rectifiers. Contact elements (13) connecting individual capacitors are transversal to the capacitor series, and combine the ceramic capacitors (1-5) in a compact unit. The contact elements (13) fit between capacitor end faces, and project beyond their surfaces, forming connections for the rectifiers. The h.v. multiplier multiplies by a factor of three and is installed colour t.v. receivers to generate of two capacitors (1, 2) and on the d.c. side of three capacitors (3, 4, 5) connected together via five diode rectifiers (6-10).
