Photosynthesis reactor, partic. for the culture of green algae, esp. Chlorella, is a closed double tank, comprising an inner vessel for the reception of the culture liquid, contg. =1 system of nozzles for the delivery of nutrients, =1 intermittently working light source emitting light corresp. to daylight and a stirrer, and an outer container with means for temp. control. Enables photosynthesis, partic. of Chlorella, to be carried out in controlled conditions to give a clean prod. i.e. free from inorg. and org. including bacterial-impurities.
