Underground narrow wall sheet piling - sheet piles of various profiles jointed to produce central ram-accommodating tunnel

In an addition to 2456886 an underground narrow wall system has the sheet piling sections constructed with straight, wavy or angled profile sides brought together to form a central tunnel into which is inserted a ram base. The device is used to transmit the ram energy from the ram foot to the hollow bottom by means of closed linkage or frictional surfaces. The ends of the sheet piling sections are manufactured into specifically formed piling section closures. The waves or profiles of the piling sections are enlarged to form a tunnel at the section centre.
