Double skinned pot for the automatic watering of potted plant soil where two vertical pipes (3, 7) allow the plot to be filled but prevent escape of the water after filling. Specifically, the pipes (3, 7) generate a vacuum (10) in the container and so prevent a water escape. The pot can automatically hold a constant water level (12) outside the container and for as long as there is water supply. In other words it works in the same way as a float system such as a toilet flush system and can also be used. The filled container (13) must not be mechanically closed in an air tight condition.
