The self-excited high frequency generator circuit consist of a generator tube, a grid resistor, and a load resistor connected via an oscillating circuit. The grid resistor consists of a main resistor and at least one additional resistor formed by a controlled electronic switch conducting or blocked, depending on the high frequency power to be delivered. The additional grid resistor value is chosen so high that the generator tube oscillations stop, when the effective grid resistance is determined by the additional grid resistor. The circuit enables control range increase for the high frequency power to be transmitted.
