The roller cam has a shaft, connected in a circumferential direction to a cam disc, via externally adjustable self-locking toothing. The cam disc (10) has an internal toothing (12), which engages with a pinion (13). The pinion freely turns in a recess, its rotary axis extending parallel to the shaft (4), and having a gripping surface (17) for an axially insertable tool. The engaging toothings between cam disc and pinion consist of an involute toothing with an engaging angle of 20 deg. The pinion is loaded in an axial direction by a compression spring (15), to press it against a wall (5), connected non-turnably to the shaft (4).
