The coin system consists of a coin tester, a number of coin stacker tubes for coins of different values and a coin cassette. The coin system is combined into a self-contained slide-in unit (9) making it a transportable safe which is inserted in the slot machine (2) from the outside. The slide-in unit has a key system consisting of two different keys. The first and the second key are used for the installation and removal of the slide-in unit as well as the opening and locking of the slot machine (2). The second key is used also for the opening and locking of the door of the slide-in unit.
