Hollow plastics arrow shot from an air gun - has lightweight body with soft nose and divergent finned tail

The hollow arrow is shot from a projecting mandrel which can be e.g. an air gun barrel. The hollow projectile has internal stabilising fins. This plastics projectile has a thin cylindrical shape and hence it is safe to use and no injuries are caused on impact. The speed is also rapidly reduced and accurate firing is possible. The hollow projectile has a diverging conical tail (1) and a spherical cap with a hole (5) on nose into which is fitted a sealing disc (4). Stabilising fins imposing rotating movement can be fitted on the projectile tail. The nose profile can be modified and in one version a felt plug can be fitted for softening the nose.
