The arrangement is used for deburring the sharp edges of the machined iron cores for transformers. An angle profile iron (1) has its corners (3) machined away locally so that a slot (8) is formed in the corner through which the sharp edge of a part will protrude when it is placed in the angle iron. A polishing belt (9) runs at an angle to the profile so that it is in contact with the edge of the work-piece which protrudes through the slot. Parts to be deburred are fed on the angle iron. At the end of the angle iron, the parts are tipped over to a second angle iron in which another edge of the work-piece will be deburred.
