Timing switch for daily differing operating periods programming - uses slider potentiometers for each day and a common clockwork potentiometer

The timing switch is intended for programming a daily varying operating time period for electric apparatus and systems. The daily varying program is preset for each instance on a slider potentiometer for the ON or OFF switching for each day. This arrangement cooperated with a rotary potentiometer, driven by a timing switch, in such manner that its continuously reduced resistance is brought into relation with the slider potentiometer system. All the potentiometers have preferably identical rated resistances. In the OFF condition the resistance of rotary potentiometer is added to the ON slider potentiometer of the respective day. If the total resistance of the two potentiometers is below the rated resistance of the two potentiometers, a flip-flop amplifier switches on the electric apparatus.
