Blood serum applicator - for supplying blood serum samples to an automatic cataphoretic analyser

Blood serum application for use in conjunction with an apparatus for cataphoretic analysis of blood serum, comprises (a) a series of applicators each having a thin plate with a groove in the peripheral edge of its front end in which a wire is inserted; (b) a carrier on which the applicators are mounted with uniform spacing; (c) a drive assembly-carrier arm, spring, wire, drive wheel, drive unit- for the vertical displacement of the carrier. A blood serum to be investigated is supplied to the applicators in an upper position of the carriage and is applied to a carrier film for the blood serum from this during a downward motion of the carrier. This enables uniform quantities of blook serum to be supplied automatically to the cataphoretic analysis appts.
