The compressor is of the type comprising a housing with inlet and outler, in whose cylindrical bore an eccentric rotor is provided with vanes slidable in radial slots. In the bottom of each slot, in the region of the outward vane movement, there is a lubricant supply aperture capable of communicating with supply orifices in the end wall(s) of the housing. The orifices are connected with an oil reservoir via an oil line, and a pressure line connects the space above the oil level with the pressure outlet of the compressor. One or both rotor shart bearings may be connected in the oil line.
