Vibration-damping clutch plate - has inner and outer members joined by eccentric and offset circular strips

The plate is particularly for motor vehicles, having an inner section with hub and driving members, and an outer one with lining mountings and driving members, a clutch plate being mounted either between the inner or the outer members. The outer members are joined by strips arranged alternately to the inner ones, there beign two such strips secured by a rivet to an outer member. These extend in tangential semicircles in and against the direction of rotation to the inner members, a rivet on an outer member always lying opposite one on an inner one on the other side of the plate. The strips thus form two circles eccentric to the plate axis and offset from each other, intersecting at 90 deg. from their anchorage points.
